Exotic Garden
The brief for this space was to transform an ordinary suburban garden into something with a tropical paradise feel. This was achieved using structural plants such as Bamboo, Fatsia Japonica and Palms. Foliage and structure was the main focus also the foliage used would create micro-climate which allowed tender plans such as Musa to be grown. Hosta and ferns were used as under planting in the shady area to increase the jungle feel. When in the space you were transported somewhere very special. I think the finished result worked extremely well.Making Your Space Work For You

In this space the client wanted a bed created to help screen a green house. After consulting with the client, a style and design were agreed on. The turf was stripped and the soiled prepared for the planting. A small water feature was installed along with up-lighting to help the space become usable in the summer evenings. The planting used incorporated the clients favourite plants and some suggested by ourselves. After the bed was completed the client chose to take a maintenance contract with ourselves.
Ornamental Pond
The client wanted a pond created. First the pond was designed; next the idea of incorporating a waterfall running through a raised bed constructed from sleepers was discussed. This gave added planting space and the use of different levels and of course the wonderful sound of running water. The pond, waterfall and beds were built and the client then planted them up with their own choice of planting.
